Girly

My sister used to be super girly when she was younger but has grown into a tom-boy. I have a tom-boy side but I try to balance it with girly as often as I can. Well, I convinced my sister to do a girly session. It was tons of fun.

Mom's are Magical

So not only do I have a love for photography I also have a love for party planning! Mothers Day 2010's theme was Mom's are Magical. We used pinks and reds and lots of whimsical little fairy like touches. As a Mothers day present to my sister in law who is married to my older brother who is ten years older than me, she is more like another sister to me. I felt she deserved a Mothers day photo session with her boys! It was so much fun, take a look.

On location in Arizona

My step Son Tyler has grown right before my eyes. He lives with his Mom in Oregan but we see him during the summers and some Holidays. He was with us this past summer and I got the amazing privilege of taking his Senior pictures! He is going to do amazing things...

On this same trip I took the opportunity to take pictures of Tyler with his Dad. These two together are a handful and usually give me one giant headache but I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Boys will be boys but O do I love them!

Rainy day in AZ... rare photo opportunity!

I have lived in so many places... born and raised in Arizona, lived in Colorado for a short time when I was in 5th grade or so. I live in Hawaii, Washington, Florida... I have traveled all over the world and I have to honestly say that there is nothing like a true Arizona thunderstorm. You can smell it, see it rolling in and the lightning, thunder, rain combination is amazing!! So a couple months ago a small storm rolled in and my sister loves the rain as much as I do so we took the opportunity to do a mini shoot! Enjoy...

Playing in the rain is fun but a perfect rainy day is curled up in pj's with a cup of hot tea snuggling with the one you love watching movies or reading a good book. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

 

On location in Seattle

Shawn and I went to Seattle this past summer to welcome home my brother from a deployment in Iraq. Since we were stationed there once it was kind of like going home. We took my sister who used to visit us when we lived there and has always had a love for the city! I took the opportunity to take pictures of her in the city she has a love for.

Photography is beautiful in itself but an amazing background and a good looking face always helps add to the whole element.
